If its Thursday, it must be Singapore. Or is it Wednesday?

Really it isn't that kind of trip, where you can only tell where you are by what the Tour Book tells you. For about a week and a half (yeah, that is kind of short), Scott flew to Singapore (by way of Chicago and Hong Kong); hung out there for a couple of days, flew on to Bangkok Thailand, there a couple of days, then Chiang Mai (ditto), Chiang Rai (only one day), Bangkok (two more), Singapore (overnight) and flight home through Tokyo, Seattle and Denver. Why? Mileage Run. If you're not familiar with this term, best visit that link for some background.

So the objective of this mileage run is to get 5500 air miles at the lowest practical cost. It should be enjoyable, too. Scott tried a route that brought him down to New Orleans (but wait, it's cold there — cross it off), San Diego (friends moved from Japan), Vancouver Washington (Brother and Sister-in-Law), and home. As plans cemented, airfares started rising, seats weren't available — it was a mess. Then one of us thought... "why don't you go to Asia for a couple of weeks". So I did.
