Puerto Madryn was our first stop in Chile. Kathy had booked us a private tour as there wasn't much exciting in the town itself and the cruise ship's tours were universally panned as well as overpriced. We got to see a variety of wildlife including a few penguins "up close and personal". Weather was great but fauna wasn't in abundance because of the particular time of the season. Still, an enjoyable visit.
