A truly lovely, if remarkably distant,  town; its the southernmost city in the continental Americas. Here we bought seats on a catamaran for a tour of the bay — about $12 each. It was quite windy so picture-taking was a bit challenging, but we've got a few good ones.

Ushuaia is also the starting off point for Antarctic cruises (which Kathy is keen on), so she stopped in a couple of local travel agencies in town for pricing information.

There's a lot more to do in Ushuaia than we had time for — this is always the compromise with cruises. You get to visit a lot of places, but you don't get much time in any of them.
