We took one of our lessons at the home/bed-and-breakfast of one of our students, Lee Murphy. We had a couple of assignments for the day (which would have otherwise been done in the classroom), including production of some hand-made pastas, and fresh-herb identification. Lee and husband Patrick live south of Vancouver in Langley, BC -- border town with Blane, WA in the US. It is a world apart from downtown Vancouver. Quiet, relaxing. In short it was a wonderful time.
